Hands-On classes give customers an opportunity to get in the kitchen. Specifically created to educate and motivate, these workshops give students the opportunity to cook with the finest professional appliances, cookware, and cutlery under the guidance of expert instructors. At the conclusion of each class, students sit together and enjoy the dishes created in class.
Chef's Table
Students gather around the stove in the cooking theater and work side-by-side with a cooking school instructor. Participants receive individual attention as they hone their culinary skills. Students then sit down at the chef’s table for a three-t0four course gourmet meal accompanied by appropriate beverages. The instructor leads a question-and-answer session plus an in-depth discussion on class recipes and learned techniques. The Chef’s Table format is a great idea for a small Special Event.
Kids & Teens
Classes for kids and teens introduce children interested in cooking to fundamental techniques appropriate to their age level. Kids and teens will develop important life skills such as working as a team, applying math and science skills, and developing creativity through cooking. This opens up a whole new world for children as they pursue their passion for cooking under the guidance of skilled instructors. Adults and children can sign up together for an adult/child class.
Demonstration
Demonstration classes offer an interactive lecture, tasting of each menu item, informal question-and-answer segments, and a packet of recipes that students will be confident in preparing at home. In this more structured format, the teacher has a greater opportunity to delve deeper into the “hows” and “whys” of cooking, both through lecture and demonstration of techniques. Students are seated classroom style.
Guest Chef
Guest Chef classes, taught by local and visiting celebrity chefs, are a one-of-a-kind experience. Taking one of these classes gives participants the opportunity to learn from experienced chefs who’ve written cookbooks, contributed to food magazines, taught at renowned cooking schools, or who have been trained at world-famous culinary institutes.
