Take a step back into the deep south and find out how to fry chicken that is crispy and juicy. Learn how to make green beans, creamy mashed potatoes, skillet corn bread, and the best every pecan pie.  Your family will not know how to thank you for this classic southern meal.

Skills – How to brine, bread and fry chicken, checking for doneness without a thermometer; sautéing green bean; making lump free mashed potatoes using a potato ricer; working with a black iron skillet to make cornbread with a crispy crust; making a local pecan pie without browning it to much and using a vanilla paste for the best whipped cream ever.
